Sensory Friendly visits
The museum can be sensory unfriendly. On weekdays, school groups are often present in the museum. After 3:30 p.m., these groups have usually left. During the vacations, the museum is often crowded, especially in the spring.
While visiting our permanent exhibition and the Junior museum, you may encounter the following, among other things:
- Varied lighting and colours
- Dark areas
- Tactile lines on the floor
- Sound effects from films (sound only, no spoken text)
- Small, crowded rooms
- Sound effects triggered when touching objects or entering a room
More information about the museumvisit can be found in this visual preparation document.
